Hi, my name is Anežka Minaříková and I’m a Czech graphic designer and visual artist living in New York. I use typography, illustration, writing, and technology to tell stories, because stories are how we live.
I work independently through a design practice I co-founded with my husband and creative partner, Marek Nedelka, and as a creative at Google, where I experiment with how emerging technologies shape the ways we experience and navigate our world.
My recent book Clara Istlerová: A Life Among Letters (Inventory Press, 2025) is an intimate dialogue with the Czech typographer Clara Istlerová, revealing a life of creativity across decades of cultural and political change. I also edited Mysterious Letters (Letter Books, 2023), a collection of interviews and essays on the enigmatic Voynich Manuscript.
I studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (BA) and the Yale School of Art (MFA). From 2022 to 2024, I was part of Google Creative Lab 5, received fellowships from CCAM and Yale, and in 2024 was awarded a Graham Foundation Grant for A Life Among Letters.
